As we embarked on the much-awaited next destination of our honeymoon, Ibiza Spain, we knew we were in for an unforgettable adventure. Our journey from Barcelona to Ibiza via Vueling Airlines was on time, smooth, and quick (can’t say the same for flying out of Ibiza). The short flight was comfortable, and as we descended over Ibiza, the blue waters and rugged coastline took my breath away. After about a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, we arrived at the TRS Ibiza Resort, a small version of our much loved TRS Coral in Mexico. We were greeted with a warm welcome that set the tone for our the rest of our stay.

When we were booking our room months before we arrived, went back and forth on which room to choose. Europe is known for having smaller accomodations. We typically have 2 things we look for in a room: a swim up and square footage. So we opted for a room with a larger balcony over looking the ocean with a private hottub. I even used google maps to street view the location and picture where that exact room might be located. Needless to say when we arrived, it was not what we expected. Not as in the room was bad. It was fine but we felt like we could do better. So we opted to upgrade to the swimup room and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT!

The luxurious swim-up suite, complete with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and overlooking the main pool felt private yet connected to the action. The spacious suite featured elegant decor and a private terrace that opened directly into a sparkling semi-private swimming pool. It was a honeymooner's paradise, and we couldn't have asked for a more romantic setting.

TRS Ibiza Resort went above and beyond to make us feel special. A heartfelt congratulations message awaited us in our beautifully adorned suite, reminding us that this was indeed a time for celebration. The attention to detail and personalized touch by the resort staff made us feel cherished and pampered.

With the afternoon sun gently caressing our skin, we wasted no time heading to get drinks and then to the pool area. We spent hours lounging, sipping on cocktails, and immersing ourselves in the sheer beauty of the surroundings. The tranquil ambiance, coupled with the rhythmic sounds of the lofi music pumping through the speakers, provided the perfect backdrop for our first few days as a married couple.

As the day transitioned into night, we retreated to our private terrace. Our suite came equipped with a personal hot tub, and we couldn't resist taking a hot dip. Submerged in warm, bubbling waters, we gazed at the star-studded Ibiza sky, sharing stories from our wedding, dreams for our future, and cherishing the intimate moments that a honeymoon brings.

Our first day at TRS Ibiza Resort was nothing short of magical. From the seamless journey with Vueling Airlines to the poolside relaxation, and a moonlit soak in our private hot tub, it was a day filled with love and luxury. As we settled in for the night, we couldn't help but look forward to what awaited us in the coming days on this enchanting island.
